Jacketed tanks in glass-lined steel with a borosilicate glass 3.3 head suitable for operation under vacuum or low pressure and temperatures up to 200°C, primarily used in applications where monitoring process conditions inside the tank is crucial, such as during chemical reactions or fermentation processes. This combination also allows the use of glass components for pilot plant execution with significant economic advantages.
The glass-lined finish of the reactors, thanks to its chemical-physical characteristics ensuring resistance and durability, allows reactions with aggressive substances, acids, and solvents while the metal jacket facilitates safe heat exchange. The borosilicate glass head ensures visibility of the interior and process monitoring without having to open the tank.
The upper flange is made with perforations that allow full compatibility with the most common glass standards, and each apparatus can be equipped upon request with a manual mushroom valve, even with angular redirect, or pneumatic and external insulation of the jacket..
